My Affair with MBP: bloggin’ & lovin’

I started blogging four months ago with the purpose of documenting our family adventure. A  journal  that will help me reminisce the joys of being a mom to two young and restless boys and a wife to my awesome hubby. To help me remember ‘happy memories’ when my kids start to have their own ‘lakad’.   To share with other people the experience to make theirs a better one.

Little did I know that this will actually give birth to a new circle of friends —mommy friends.  Lovely mothers who share their passion with other moms on cooking, taking care of kids, education, foods, places, travels and more, a community with a ♥HEART ♥. Visiting MBP for Mommies’ scoops with a cup of coffee became my night time ritual.

Last December 5, I battled four gruesome hours of traffic  and almost changed my mind on my way to my first Christmas Party with Mommies  as organized by Mommy Bloggers Philippines.

But even the traffic is no match to my enthuastic spirit, there is nothing I want more  than to meet these lovely Moms!  Achieve!

The Linden Suite is the official venue, the Skylounge looks festive in its Red and Gold arrangement (by Amira Events).  I arrived around 2:30, thanks to Rackell who made an effort to reserve a seat for me on ‘Table 3’. If there is an award per table, ‘Most Coolit’ table  would have been ours, they made me feel welcome. Arriving late, I missed individual introduction, had my lunch and coffee+LotusBiscoff break almost at the same time (by Mesclun)!    However, I still managed to know and memorize the mommies of the round ‘Table 3’ – from my left:  Bave, Pauline, Neri, Anna, Coi, Jen and Rackell. From other tables, I met Madz and Lariza.  I hope to meet others as well on other gatherings. Cheers to more get togethers!

Apologies for the photos that I had taken in a haste. Waze consumed my battery and my phone was almost dead when I reached the venue (thanks to Jen for the lifeline).

Needless to say, it was a wonderful party! Great memories were definitely created! Two generous sponsors graced the occasion to thank mommies for the support and add to the event’s foods, goodies and prizes.  Kudos to Moms behind the effort to gather moms for a holiday cheer (and generous sponsors too!): Lani, Louisa, Joy, Arge, Lally and Jho.
